More info:

Jayden is a variant of Jaden, a made-up name used in English-speaking countries (notably the United States) since the 1990s, when the trend of combining a consonant sound and the suffix -aden began to emerge. Jaden is often used in reference to the English word jade, which comes from the Spanish phrase "piedra de la ijada," or "stone of the flank," which was a title given to the stone because it was believed that jade had the ability to cure colic when placed on the appropriate part of the body.

It is sometimes used as a variant of the Biblical Hebrew name Jadon, which means "He will judge."
