Henry Alexander
Better late then never lol. I wanted to announce the birth of my Henry (often called Hank or "brudder").
I was due Jan.25, gave birth Jan. 25th. Midnight on the 25th almost exactly I woke up to a contraction, and kept having them so that I couldn't sleep through them, went downstairs to labor until 6 AM, when I woke dh up tell him to go pick up my mom as they HURT. They get back and went to the hospital, where on checking in I was dilated to a 8-9 already. I walked around for an hour and was dilated to a 10. But then labor stalled because a cervical lip wasn't letting him come down. So for another 8 hours I labored, then got an IV of pitocin to try to force my body to work better, and two hours later (and with the help of two doctors holding back the lip, Henry was born at 6:37 PM. Turns out that on top of being sunny side up, head tilted at an angle so it was caught in the pelvis, and a hand up by his face, his hefty weight of 10 lbs 5 oz made him more than a little stuck lol. But I did it completely painmed free, which was what I wanted. He came out not breathing, it was very scary for a minute, they rushed him to the little warming table and worked on him until he started breathing and then he was give to me. He is a champion nurser too, which i love after the struggles (and sense of failure) I had with Rosy.
